Convocation Time

I spent today dropping off my final assignment for the semester, being fitted for my commencement cap and gown and standing in line at the post office so I could get a $75 money order for my passport renewal.

My boyfriend arrives today from San Francisco, my mom and her BF arrive tomorrow and then graduation is Monday. I also start my intensive 2-week course on Monday, the same day I’m participating in convocation.

I won’t find out my class ranking until September as I’m not officially graduating until then. NYU doesn’t provide degrees at graduation anyway because our last classes are today. Knowing how long it took some of my professors to submit grades (1.5 months) some people may be waiting for their degrees for quite some time.
