Good Riddance Holidays!
I’m so happy the holidays are over. Since Thanksgiving I’ve been dealing with missed garbage pickups (which fall on Thursday, just like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day) as well as my chosen graduate school offices being randomly closed - meaning it’s going to take that much longer for me to receive my decisions.
It’s not like I’m all “Bah Humbug” and shit - I do like certain holidays, like my birthday when everyone’s attention is focused on me and my needs. It’s just that these other holidays seem so forced and contrived not to mention disruptive. I am happy to return to normality - meaning my garbage will be picked up as normal, my graduate school offices will be open and people will quit using the holidays as a reason to be overly mawkish and sentimental.

I feel the same way Shane. I am waiting for a decicion from FIT for the Spring -09 (!!!) semester. Meaning they have approximately 3 weeks to make a decision and then notify me..eeeh!
Which schools did you end up applying to?
